Risk communication

I use an interdisciplinary approach to examine risk and crisis communication discourses as related to technological, environmental, and public health risks.

Intercultural communication

I employ transnational and cross-cultural frameworks to explore various pressing issues in different institutional, socioeconomic, and cultural contexts.

Digital and visual rhetorics

I analyze how digital media and emerging technologies facilitate scientific and risk communication in marginalized, vulnerable, and underrepresented communities.
